I have made a deal with a local printer to trade some picture framing for a used Epson 44" 9800 printer. The ink tanks are all full except for one or two and it looks to be in great condition.
I'm planning to use it primarily for my own printing but may start printing for customers too.
I'm looking for any tips or warnings you might have about this printer.
Is it still considered professional quality even if it's 5 years old?
Is my outlay of cash, around $750, a fair amount for this printer?
Any feedback will be appreciated.
