I´ve had an Epson V500 scanner for several years and it´s worked mostly fine, but this year it has been playing up and I´m having more and more problems with a "Write to file" error.
It now only manages to scan and save a few negatives before showing this error message.
This appears to be an old problem - there are discussions on the web from several years back (although I couldn´t find anything on rff), including checking the settings under "Configuration", deleting the content of the "Temp" folder", and installing the latest driver from Epson (version 3.7.7.3), which was said to have solved the problem.
I´ve done all of this and it still doesn´t work properly. Even if I delete the files from the Temp folder, the error occors again after another couple of scans.
Has anyone here had a similar problem? If so, did you solve it?.
It´s driving me bananas. :bang:
Thanks
