EuroMeet 2012 - Istanbul

I was sent back from the passport control to the visa desk actually, because I never bought a visa to Turkey before either. There were large signs up with tens of flags of countries that needed to buy visas. Including, I think, all EU countries. With my Dutch passport I never had to buy a visa before, but it looks like it's policy now. Cash cow mostly.

hmmm not true, not all Eu citizens. I was just in TUR 2 weeks ago and passed the border with no fees. I'm French.

Yep, French citizens are exempt. As are Germans, Japanese, and even Syrians, among others.

I'm sure I can find tri-x in istanbul if this turns out to be insufficient?

I beg your pardon, but in the end we didn't choose an exact meeting point for the 14th, or it'll be Ara Café?? I'm rater slow...

I was about to ask the same question..

Everybody? Ara Cafe? Time?

Does someone have a list? (How many people we need to wait in the meeting point)

How many local members?

We are back from our one-week-istanbul-trip. Awesome city, great weather and 29 exposed films. ;-)

Wish you a great trip.

Good questions.
And: Who will be in Istanbul before the meeting weekend? Will we meet on Thursday and Friday, too?

I'll say.. Ara Café between between 10 AM and 11 AM, whoever shows up can participate on the never ending discussion of " were we (has a group) are going next?!" :)

Hey, I am alive.

Ara Cafe 10am on Saturday, unless you like to be late, in which case 9am. Whatever will happen after that - we will connive together. But, above all, Ara Cafe, 10am.

At dinnertime I'll look through this thread and PM anyone who has said they are coming and who I do not have contact details of.
I'll then email out to everyone who is coming the details of everyone else, for {pre,post}-meet meets.

Clear as mud? To me at least.
