I'll be there the 13th (i'll be departing the 12th late), but planning to see some turistic spots not to interfere with the meeting. By the way i'll be there also on Monday and departing on Tusday at 02:00 PM.

I called Ara Cafe. They said they are opening around 7 a.m. and their breakfast service are starting at 10:30 a.m. If we are planning to meet around 10 they said we don't need any reservation. But if we planning to meet around 12 then we have to. If we can decide the meeting time I can make a reservation.

For the ones coming earlier why not use the Ara Café from 9-10 AM as a meeting point as well, in this case whoever is in town can join/meet/shoot.

If you didn't get it, then I have typed in your email address wrong - please PM me (jonmanjiro - yours failed for a start).
We meet at 10am on Saturday at Ara Cafe. You will not have a problem identifying your fellow geek if you make it to the cafe.
What happens after that, we decide as we go along. The general plan is west-side Saturday, east-side Sunday.
The idea of the meet is to see those back streets and little places hidden that are not in the guide books, we go where the Istanbulers think is cool, no-one gets angry if you disappear down an alley or a building and there will be another to help should someone not like your photo taking and jump on your back to take your purse and wig.
As we will be 23, our interests will differ and we will split up and do as we wish. We can talk about it on Friday/Saturday but it would be nice for all of us to have a meal toghether on Saturday at least (dinner or supper or both), should be plan ahead or descend on a place?
Friday, I will want to drink beer until late. Let me know if you want to meet up.
