I'm afraid but I can't bring my magic wand as dangerous weapons are not allowed in the plane and my magic broom was destroyed in the last quidditch game. (watched too many Harry Potter movies with my daughter lately 🙄 )

Nothing special in istanbul. But at this time there are eastern holidays in germany and we are planing already a trip to istanbul at this time.

I use these guys when I fly. They're pretty cheap and even though they land on the asian side there's a bus that takes you to Taksim (where I guess most of you will stay) directly.

I should be in town during those dates.

Hi Kully,

been here for three months now, planning to stay five years.

I haven't seen a lot of the country tough; it's mostly hard yakka that keeps me busy here.

I am slowly picking up photography again and I hope my darkroom arrives soon when the container with our stuff finally gets here.

I know already I am missing out on something great, so have fun you all !!

I can make the original dates suggested but not the following week due to work commitments.

If I can't go then it's a shame for me but no biggie, but I do feel sorry for Jamais if they have a flight booked already😱

I'll keep an eye on the thread and see what the majority decide. A deadline for a decision may help people though.
