Let me be the one who kicks it off then...
I suggest we start gathering ideas first, then try to generate an overview later... not that it worked that well last year...

Where do we want to go this year?
And when would you be available?

First suggestion (but on very short notice):
Berlin in March
(our Czech delegates are planning to visit the Vivian Maier exhibition)

Past locations (let's not go there again?):

2007 Paris
2008 Berlin
2009 Barcelona
2010 Florence
2011 London
2012 Istanbul
2013 Prague
2014 Gdansk

Suggested locations from last year(s), in no particular order:

Stockholm, Sweden
Vilnius, Lithuania
Belgrade, Serbia
Riga, Latvia
Brussels, Belgium
Hamburg, Germany
Lubeck, Germany
Rostock, Germany
Copenhagen, Denmark
Sarajevo, Bosnia
Tallinn, Estland
Arles, France
Bergen, Norway
Rovaniemi, Finland
Malta, Malta
Bucharest, Romania
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Tbilisi, Georgia
St.Petersburg, Russia
Dublin, Ireland
Cork, Ireland
Vienna, Austria

In Istanbul at the 2012 Euromeet I remember some of the guys talking about a previous Euromeet in Berlin, so I'm guessing that's your blank for 2008.

Hi All,
There are at the moment three of us planing train trip to see Vivian Maier exhibition in Berlin and current dates are 20th (arrival ca 11 AM) -22nd March (leaving ca 16 PM) .

Hmmm... intriguing, as that weekend is still free for me, astonishingly. But like I said, very short notice. So I am guessing that this might become a side event with fewer people being able to attend.

That makes five possible attendees for Berlin.

But let's keep the discussion open... I am guessing many people need more advance planning... and Berlin has been done before, I gather?

PS: I am not impartial, because that would be one of the shortest possible trips for me...
So let's give the others a chance.

Not sure but for me (and wife) a few days in berlin could be possible, it's since Florence we didn't join a RFF meeting...this could be an opportunity...
robert
PS: when and where id the Vivian Maier exhibition? I didn't find new about it...

Martin .. notify me when you come here pls. Would be nice to say hello in person :)

For me it all depends on the date. I'm very busy the coming few months but then might have plenty of time.
I've been in Berlin three times now and have seen the Vivian Maier exhibition. Berlin is absolutely not my first choice.
All possible cities sound okay to me but for some I wonder if they're not to small.
If held in Amsterdam and I have time I can host.
st. Petersburg is my favourite. Especially a bit later in spring to benefit from the long golden hour. But not the easiest because we'll need visa etc.
The Baltic cities seem to be very nice too.
