everyday camera

I've just started, but it's my Bessa R2a with 40/1.4.

Before that it was a Oly 35 Trip. It is completely indestructable and is lying somewhere in my car being stepped on occasionally and feeling very warm in the summer sun.

I don't have an everyday camera, if you don't count the picture taking feature of my mobile phone which I don't use.

Light? Small? Robust? Automatic or manual? = Minox C
Sometimes I wear a Minox EC like a pocket watch. Even had my Foundrymen's Society honor key hanging from the chain. (crossed pick and shovel instead of Phi Beta Kappa, but who's gonna get that close?)
I keep the Minox strobe in an old nylon knife case that I can stick in my pocket if I'll be inside, or out after dark.
Carried a Rollie 35 around for a while (bigger negatives, shoot color without a credit check, etc) but I can't seem to learn to love the thing.
Not realy relevent, I know. Minoxing is almost a seperate desease, and like leprosy, not all that contagious.
Hmm... does use 35mm film (with a little pre-processing), Leica did buy the company, the little lumps on the chain find the range, fantastic lens, aknowledged classic design. New models bazarely priced. Nothing to be ashamed of here!
And you can hang it from almost any convienent body piercing.

Hi Frank. GR1V goes everywhere with me. Light, spot on metering and a cracking lens. Shame they didn't make one with a 35mm lens. And: I also keep a Cosmic Symbol in the car for when those strange feelings of--------lomophotography take me over or when the parking brake fails! 😉
All the best.

Just got an M6 and my wife's afraid I'm going to bring it to bed wth me. I haven't been tempted but it does live in my shoulder bag which goes everywhere with me, usually with a Konica M-Hexanon 35mm and sometimes a CV Nokton 50mm and pretty much always loaded with Velvia 100. I've tried being a B&W guy but I guess I'm just addicted to color. And it scans so nicely. But when the light's lousy I sometimes take along an Olympus C-7070 compact digital. Velvia deserves good light, after all.
