I'm often shooting events around here with 2 or 3 Leicas. The young woman who covers this beat for the Miami Herald has a couple of DSLR's equipped with HUMONGOUS white zoom lenses. She says that it'd be so great to go back to film and use cameras that don't break your back. I'm tempted to show up at an event that I'm not shooting, but that she's likely to be covering, carrying my 4X5 Speed Graphic with the side mounted flash gun ;-) That rig weighs almost as much as one of her Canons with a zoom lens.
