Exchanging micro lens in tokyo

I would like to sell my 105mm nikkor micro in Tokyo and buy new 200 mm Nikkor Micro lens, Is this a good decision? I mainly use it for butterfly photography. Do shops in tokyo accept used equipment, if yes which is good place?

I think Tokyo dealers are like dealers anywhere else; they will buy way low, and sell way high. You might get 25 percent of the value of your lens.

Thanks for information, I am not sure if there is any treadoff in replacing 105 mm by 200 mm in theory. I expect a longer closest distance, as wild butterflies are difficult to approach. Specs wise it is very heavy.

Try the results by buying a 2X teleconverter first. EBay sells them for next to nothing.
