Bob,Different look. I don't get why people simply assume that the cheapest film is the better option in every case. With this logic only FOMA should be used as it is always the cheapest. If it can't deliver a smooth grain so what? If it is cheapest, it is automatically better than even Tri-X.
Sometimes the ADOX will deliver the look someone is after, sometimes it will be Tri-X. Sometimes (gasp) it will be Rollei. A wide range of film types is a useful thing when one is able to exploit the differences in work.
Thanks for the clarity.

Thanks. Well indeed! I escaped Houston. No longer punching a clock.
I need to relearn how to be free.
Work on the "white" theme.
Cheers!

Thanks again, Bob. RPX-25 sounds like what I have been looking for. Cost is not that bad . . . $7.99 per roll and $89.99/100 ft bulk at Freestyle http://www.freestylephoto.biz/810236-Rollei-RPX-25-ISO-35mm-x-36-exp.
Sorry, folks, for getting away the topic of the thread; Silvermax sounds good as well; I wonder if they sell it retail at the plant because I will try to visit soon next time I am in Berlin.

You can buy all Adox products at the Fotoimpex shop in Berlin. Fotoimpex is not only a big online distributor with worldwide shipping, they also have a very nice "brick and mortar" physical shop in the middle of Berlin, which is definitely worth a visit!
And Fotoimpex and Adox are "brother companies", both have the same owner.
Have fun in Berlin!

That's great, I haven't seen CMS or CHS 120 in stock at Fotoimpex or Macodirect for a long time. 35mm is back though...

yep, it's great. I still use Adox CHS 100 ART and CHM 125 - I bought those many years ago (in 2009, but now the stock is running out)... paid 1.5 EUR per roll...
