There was an exhibition last Sunday here in Padua, and there was also a small used-camera-market, not that big, however i expected to find some real bargains 😀
Well, a lot of 35mm stuff, but only a few sellers had FSU gear. In particular there was a young lady had a table full of zorki, fed and leica screw... i've noticed two interesting zorki 3, a plain "3" and a "3M", the price was 50euro each. Not that bad, i've seen a couple of ebay auctions for a lot more...
Ok, i asked if the camera is fully functional, etc... the answer was "yes, certainly, all cameras are in perfectly working order!". But when pushed the button to check the shutter, well... it stayed open. Ok so the shutter is broken 🙁
Then, i tried to focus the lens according to the rangefinder... hum... another problem: fucusing ring is blocked, it won't turn at all. Ok, so: camera+lens=not working!
Let's unscrew the lens!
The rangefinder coupling arm is badly bent!!!
What piece of crap...
Another seller had a Jupiter 8 (53xxx) for 40euro, maybe too much...
Some others asked up to 60euro for a FED 2 with the Industar 26m, maybe... too much?
And in the end i've bought a Neonon 50mm (brand new) since i only had a componon 80mm on my enlarger, and a Jupiter 3. Now i'll need to correct focusing issues on my zorki (waiting for another test-roll) and then try the Jupiter 😀
