From my collection of viewfinders I use the CV's the most: they are relatively small but still very bright compared to other viewfinders and relatively well priced, i.e. second hand. I think all of them were acquired from fellow RFF members. Very recently I got the 21mm finder and could compare it to the 15mm and 25mm I already had, and wanted to share what I didn't realise before the comparison: the 15mm and 21mm are actually the same finders, that is optically. The 21mm is a 15mm with framelines for the 21mm lens. The 25mm is a different finder optically. Apart from the framelines, there is another difference between the 15 and the 21 finder: the 15mm appears to have a different 'foot' (see second image): the 15mm has its 'foot' in the center below the finder, so different from the 21mm and the 25mm which are off-center.
My question after this comparison: is the 25mm perhaps comparable to the 35mm finder (which I don't have) albeit the 35 without the framelines?
