Experimenting with SOOC B&W Jpgs. These have a yellow filter effect applied.
Pentax K-3, 20-40 limited lens.

I like the photos but the rendering leaves a bit to be desired. All the middle-dark tones are running together in number 1 and 4, and number 2 and 3 lack the sparkle that such crisp scenes of snow on buildings should have.

I'd experiment with the EV Compensation Control to add a bit more exposure on such subjects if the notion is getting the best you can get straight out of the camera with no post processing work.

I'm in agreement, they're a bit underexposed. Still, that's why one experiments - to learn.
