Eypiece screwmount standard?

Hi,

I hope this is not the wrong forum for a more technical question.

Would anyone happen to know if the viewfinder eyepiece screwmount is standard size in different rangefinder cameras: for example Bessa R, Epson R-D1 and Nikon have the same size mount but is it the same for other manufacturers like Leica cameras too?

No help with Leica, but the Fuji Ga cameras share the same eyepiece with the Nikon FA, FE2, FM2, FE and FM.

Might be a nice place to put cross-compatible bits and bobs in this thread.

The R-D1 (and I suppose CV Bessa bodies) share the Nikon FM2/ FM3a eyepiece thread.

I find unscrewing the two small screws, to disassemble the small place including eyepiece easier for fitting complicated accessories like eye cups btw.

I fitted a Nikon DK-3 this way on the R-D1, but didn't like it due to the harder rubber in the end.

so there is no standard but could someone confirm that the mentioned Nikon FM2 screwmount (same as Bessa, R-D1) does or does not fit Leica M6.
