Hi all.

Took me a while to figure out what GAS was, and then I had to admit I had it.

However, I'm now coming to terms with FAS, Film Acquisition Syndrome.

I horde film. I scour the web looking for deals, and buying up stock. If I want to test a new film, I wont buy one or two, but ten. I always buy the 20 film deals on 7DayShop. I now have a ton of film, literally I have more than my storage bag can hold. I'm about to buy about 25 more rolls! I have more film than my current stock of Dev could develop, and I use a 1:100 solution!

Is this because I'm new again to picture making, or will it keep getting worse? I've already been looking at fridges to store it all in!

Am I a lost cause? Do any of you suffer from FAS? How do you cure it? Should I cure it? Maybe I should shoot more. :)

I have way more film than I need, too. Probably a couple of hundred rolls of 35mm, and about 50 rolls of 120, and about 150 sheets of 4x5. It's so easy to acquire more.

I never like to run out of the types I like. And I tend to buy it opportunistically too.

It'll get used, and it's deep frozen so it'll last anyway. But I have more than I need, for certain.

Oh you have know idea how bad F.A.S. can get you, trust me!
I have more film and paper in cold storage than most of the camera stores probably have!:)
