Not in the last 15 years or so, but I know she will behave.
BTW, I am very pleased to see that the finder is easier on my bespectacled eyes than the FM. Not the F3 hp view, but definitely better than the smaller siblings.
Very nice. I like the DE-1 on the F, looks good. Also the "Apollo" film advance is nice.

interesting. is this possible with other F finders also ? F3 does not look that different from two older version either.

Only the F and F2 finders are compatible, and one need to unscrew the "Nikon" plate from the F to put an F2 Prism on it (the name plate is on the camera for the F and on the prism for the F2)

Thanks all for the compliments (she's blushing right now)
it has its share of small dents and scuffs, and a tiny mark in the prism optics, but generally, its pretty clean and nice, and the shutter looks great.
I plan to load it with some delta 100 this weekend and try that new to me 50mm f/2 to see if it lives to its reputation.
If it does, I think I have a great SLR+50mm all arounder...

Well, that's certainly the cleanest-looking F I've ever seen (as in sleek, uncomplicated, not in the never-been-used sense of the word). I really like the F2 prisms. The lines are just right.
I used to have an F with the FTn head on it... that was busted. That was an ugly camera. I've been seeing cameras with the plain F prism lately for pretty cheap. I think I need another one.

Looks very nice indeed. I have two F cassettes already. Might just as well get a body for them.

Because the metered F prisms contain batteries, they could, I suppose be mounted and used on F2 bodies (although I can't see why anyone would do so), but the opposite is not true.
Metered F2 prisms derive their power from the button batteries inside the camera body itself, so while mounting an F2 prism on an F body will give you something to look through to focus, the meter won't work as there is no power source within the camera .
