It has been reported on LUF that Balham has closed. If anyone has information on the disposition of equipment left in their care, please post to the above thread. One of our RFF members has a Summicron that was in for work when the business closed.

Lens arrived this morning 
- Have to say it is a beautiful piece of kit. My first Leica lens, and the build quality is just fantastic, feels great (it that makes sense).
It's now attached to my M7 and I'm about to head out to use it for the first time.

This and this (1st test roll) were taken with a 50 cron collapsible (M mount, SN 119xxxx). I bought this lens from a RFF member for $280, has a fair amount of cleaning marks on the front element but I really like the softness and low contrast wide open. It is my fav lens now.
