Just got email on the Nikon Manual focus group

---

Well Photo Equip was very prompt in their reply...here it is:

"The NF-Grip and Unigrip you asked about are out of stock, and the
decision has been made to discontinue manufacture of these models.
However, if you check with Lemon Co. in Tokyo, they should have the
NF-Grip for the Nikon F3 in stock, as they special order it from us.
Their web site is www.lemonsha.com and should get you the information
you need.

I am sorry we weren't able to help you get a Grip on your F3, but I
hope this helps."

Unfortunately the web site is entirely in Japanese (except for a
banner for 7 day bargains). I can't even tell where there is
a "contact us" link. I also don't see the grip pictured anywhere. any
Japanese readers on the list that can help me out?

"sender email cut out"

Yeah, I remeber I was told about 'Lemon Co' in Japan when I contacted Photoequip. I wasn't given a web address though, and was wondering what I was supposed to do with 'Lemon Co'. A web search revealed some Japanese web pages that I couldn't read and I just gave up. The fact is, I wasn't desperate for one and I got it into my head to fashion one out of wood. That has been in limbo for the past month or so.

Anyway, mtokue and others, could you please take a look at the above web page and pass on some information? Thanks in advance.

The guys on the Nikon list converted the Yen. It was I think about 89 or 91 USD for the F3 one. You need to click on the Toy cameras link somewhere to find the grip.
If it was me, I'd get one (but I don't have an F3). My F2 feels like a totally different camera with one. It just feels so "right" to have it on a Nikon F2.
