I'm affraid this will be a very long list...
What about Staropramen just to stay in Prague... or the Velkopopovicky Kozel... or the original Budvar... or the Fleku's black...

My next visit to Prague is planned for next May...

Saludos, compañero! --- I have a Russian friend and have at times talked about political figures from the 60s (I had an interesting history teacher, when I was a kid in the late 70s, in Mexico). We once got into an argument about Zhukov.

I can never beat her at chess, though.

funny thing about saying good bye to an old vehicle, definitely get attached, but I also soon get over it. My wife's from Vancouver, looking at the rear yard it made me think of her old home turf around Fraserview.

yeah i have a smaller, more efficient truck now...and that one had some problems.

That yard is my folks place in Delta...Ladner specifically. It's got that wet-coast look :)
 
I'm in the middle, orange jersey. Cycling is my other passion. I sometimes teach cycling skills in my club, The New York Cycling Club.

That man (James Brown) has some serious energy for being 72! He did a suprise appearance at a Dave Matthews Band show I saw at Madison Square Garden the other year and he was all over the stage, dancing, singing, gettin pumped up. I was impressed! They played Sex Machine :)
 
The first photo, taken two summers ago, shows me enjoying my other passion: drinking on the deck. The second is a recent goof-off self portrait of Mr. & Mrs. Cbass.

I've enjoyed reading this thread. We're an odd bunch, no? ;)

I had two for over 15 years. Our last one passed about two months ago. I too extend my sympathy, to the both of you. :)

Hasek's Svejk ends with a nice conversation.
(If not known, it takas place in central Europe during WW I).
One ol' friend says to Svejk: Let's meet after the war at 5.30.
Svejk answeres: O.K. but rather 5.45, maybe I"ll late.
