I just wanted to say that ''altai'' [ aAlex ]on e-bay is a genuinely fair seller .
His items are all well described , and he makes no secret of the fact that his cameras are restored with good condition lenses , rather than that which came with the camera. [ good for me ! ]
My Fed 1 / Zorki 1 / Zorki S / Zorki 2S / Zenit S are really superb - yet still have '' signs of use '' - no rechroming but recovering .
It's a shame that my ASdee is dee'sturbed by the Cyrillic engraving which causes my dee'slexia to ''crash '' !!! OOPS !!!
Not all are perfect - a rigid I 22 had a stiff aperture , a Kristall had a cracked pentaprism ... [ could be in transit , 'cos I had the same problem with another Zenit , from another seller ] and a Fed 2 b rewind problems , which he tried to help me fix , but it has to go back , for fixing .
However he took back the Kristall , which I deecided was not for me anyway , and agreed to restore my 2x Zenit 1 , 1x Zenit S , the original I 22 and another rigid I 22 from elsewhere , without charge .
It seems that he was an enthusiast , then extending a hobby , but is thinking of getting out of restoring and selling
