Canada fall get together...or joe goes to toronto!

so far, in prep for my week in toronto...and the plane ride...

bought a killer pair of headphones, full size, cuts outside noise (screaming children) down...been adding songs to my ipod, up to over 4000 now, and maybe will add a movie or 2.

bought the camera kit for the ipad along with the snapseed software by nik...supossed to be excellent.

really looking forward to getting out of town...
 
still looking forward to the trip...i travel pretty light so not really much to pack.
i'm thinking i might take my notebook instead of the ipad and maybe just the x100 instead of it and the rd1.
the final decision will be made minutes before leaving for the airport...

i hope i get to meet as many of you guys as possible...

btw, i'll be staying at banting house on homewood ave...they say you can walk to everything from there...true?
 
Great location. Within walking distance are: Queen St hip/shopping, Yonge St commercial strip, China Town, Kensington Market, CN Tower, SkyDome (BlueJays), Distillery District, ferry terminal to Toronto islands, St. Lawrence market. If that's not enough, then hop on a streetcar and take a tour of many ethnic neighborhoods. It'll be great.

great to hear...i just want to walk around and shoot.
 
so...if i just take the x100 and the ipad with me, i could also fit my iphone and ipod, a charger, extra batteries, passport and tickets inside the retro 5 and i could hang my full size headphones on the bag strap. all my techno gear in one place with me all the time.

another 2 weeks about and i hit the big city...

any plans yet for a get together or will i be walking the streets alone?
 
Okay, roll call: Who is available on Saturday Sept. 17 and/or Sunday Sept. 18 in Toronto?
I'm away, celebrating my mother's 80th birthday that weekend.
