Do you have fall project?

For photography I'm making photographs of my family.

However, I do dedicate more time for the darkroom to make contact prints of films from this summer and make some prints.

I also have yard work, lots of leaves this year. Had to remove them off of the roof.

I can't believe how busy I Am since retiring!

Repetitive tasks, I would say.

Fall colors on self-developed c-41 film. Started last year, it is better this year.

Halloween photography to be little bit different from what I see (street portraits of "decorated" people). And same for Christmas parade.

Scanning all the 6x6 and 6x7 film, that I shot over the summer and did not see other than as a negative, yet. This will give me many new impressions of summer in cold and wet autumn and winter.

I'm looking into how to present a project I did over the summer, I want to do something more than just break it into individual blog posts, but I haven't found out how to present it yet.

I'm off work until Thursday due to a combination of school break for the kids and last chance to do various chores in the garden and outside of the house. On Saturday I picked up some new hedges to replace a few I planted two years ago and didn't survive. Saturday planting new hedges, Sunday trimming old ones. Monday digging a flowerbed, distributing wood chips under the hedges, mowing the lawn, and doing general outdoor cleaning and repairs. Today I spent three hours cleaning windows. We have a new house being built next door and the dirt has built up, so cleaning the windows will gain me easily one stop on my daytime indoor photos. 🙂

Tomorrow I will put the winter tires on the car and clean the garage. This is how I spend my mornings, and in the afternoons I take the kids hiking, swimming, etc. I take what photos I can when we're out hiking and in general down time in between. I look forward to going back to the office on Thursday, where despite having loads of work to do there is no manual labour involved. 😉

Cheers,
Rob

Gosh do I have lists of projects. We're having landscaping work as here in Minnesota fall is a good time to work on them. Visiting grand children but that goes on during the year! I recently bought a 1936 Leica III-A and it looks like it has hardly been used. Shutter works at all speeds and it looks like new curtains.

My wife has honey do lists and I'm OK with that as I can now take my time to get them done.

Had to get the tree leaves off of the roof.

So far so good!
