Thank you for your reactions! I'm really enjoying this ancient little camera.
Now I'm wondering just what my Color-Skopar 28mm f/3.5 and Color-Skopar 50mm f/2.5 will do on it... Time to load it up again.
And, oh yes: the bright-line Leica 50mm accessory viewfinder is FAR FAR easier to frame with compared to the in-camera 50mm viewfinder. I have a Ricoh GV1 28mm viewfinder, but I suppose I might pick up a Leica 28mm accessory finder too as the Ricoh is for a 3:4 format proportion.

I agree with everything here. Just one question -- what was the October 14, 2023 catastrophe you mention? Not being a jerk, I hope, just am not sure. Do you mean the Hamas attack? That was 10/7.

Godfrey, glad you're on the mend and taking photos again. I have a couple of those Leica IIIc bodies with a slew of Nikkor LTM glass, makes me feel like DDD.
