Fastest shipment ever from FSU

I bought a Jupiter 9 last Monday from ebay seller "Fotobaltic", in Latvia. I was very pleasantly surprised when today, the very next Monday, I heard the bell ring and looked out to see the postman there with one of those distinctive FSU packages... that's the fastest so far I've gotten something from the FSU, Alex-photo has gotten stuff to me here in Texas in 9 days before, but this beats that. Shipping was only $12. Nice lens, too, with the hard case and accessory finder. No front or rear lens caps, though. Anyone know the size for the front cap? I'll have to start looking around for one.
Well, I've never heard of Fotobaltic before, but he's OK by me so far.

It's gotta be a copy. No real Jupiter could get here that fast! ;) Congrats! From now on, when the rest of us need something from the FSU, we'll get YOU to order it for us!

Maybe this is how Latvia is getting rid of its surplus ballistic missiles -- using them for parcel delivery.

Pleasant thought, as long as they use LOTS of bubble wrap...

Latvia is the European Union country now. I think they had to improve their postal services according to EU rules.
 
Received a Kiev 4 From the "Soviet Camera Store" arrived here in NYC in just 7 days from the Ukraine , Vikentiy is a real gentleman to deal with and the camera was CLA, nice to get a camera that doesn't require any work.
 
Lucky you! I'm still waiting for a xmas pack from California that should have arrived a week ago... 15 days and still nothing... I hope no one stole it, it holds unique items with high sentimental value...
