Favorite B&W Films for Old Cameras

I like Fuji neopan 1600, ilford Hp5 and Fp4. The fast films allow me to stop down the old elmar almost all the way and still use a high shutter speed for sharp images. 1932 Leica II with "11 o'clock" Elmar Fuji 1600:

I'm a little disgruntled with Kodak. I try to use as few of their products as possible, but I still end up buying quite a few: dektol, tri-x, plus-x, etc.

The Tmax400-2 film is excellent. 9 minutes @ 23 degrees C in 1:2 diluted Perceptol.

Leica IIIc, Summicron 50mm f/2 collapsible, Tmax400-2 printed on Ilford MGIV-fb.

Erik.
