I've only got an LG phone of some sort!

This photo was taken in my works car park during some heavy rain. Most of the distortion was caused by the rain running down the windscreen. All other work was carried out in phone.

I've seen many pictures of urban decay, old abandoned gas stations in towns long ago passed by the interstate, barns well past their prime, and rusted heaps of old cars. These all show the march of time, a forgotten era, and the images have some emotional appeal.

What I've taken on as a project is taking pictures of modern objects falling into neglect. Most specifically, lighted signs where some of the light bulbs have burned out. Some can be humorous. The best time to take a picture of these signs is at sunset. I happened across this one at just the right time of day. It was next to the Interstate highway I was on, so I took the next exit and headed back. The "real" camera was loaded with black and white, so the cell phone camera was pressed into action.

I call this one "Goo."

chris91387, this is one powerful shot. really excellent! thanks for sharing.

haha, thanks, rondo. it was a proud day when my girly-girl got her first skinned knee. she's not very rough and tumble and she totally ate it on the asphalt while riding her razor. ripped both knees on her jeans and everything. it's the closest i'll ever be to having a son.

the iphone is so much fun with all the weird apps you can get. not sure which of the may "retro" apps i used but it might have been a combination of a couple.
