Sat here at my desk at work gazing out the window and have to say I'd rather be outside shooting. Something special about autumn light, its almost like its magic hour all the time. Really high contrast for architecture/street but without the harshness that you normally get around midday.

Do you have a favourite time of year to shoot?

Do I sense a sudden case of the office "flu" coming on? Get out there and shoot. Unfortunatley I have no windows here at work. My favorite time is dead middle of the summer. Love the heat and late day sunshine.

I love autumn. I like going outside, like the colours of the trees (such different yellows, reds etc.) the sunset, everything...

I look forward to early fall as the angle of the light often times produces very dramatic effects (I'm in Seattle...if it's not rainy or the clouds have socked in). It is especially intense on our cold, clear days. I try to get to the coast as often as possible during this time.

The only time of year I'm not overly excited about is summer.

I like all the different seasons.

Summer brings many street festivals, days are longer so there's more time after work and we usually go away somewhere as well.

Fall and Spring bring some colour, foliage and constantly changing landscapes.

Winter is nice too if we get fresh snow, some ice etc.

This is just the RF style and landscape shooting. For my wildlife/birds, there's lots to keep me busy year round as well.

Winter. The light is terrible, the temperatures are miserable, and the light is terrible. Did I say the temperatures are miserable?

Have to agree. I dont get out much in the winter. Usually just on those rare warm-up days we get here and there.

Early morning and late at night.

I did three rolls last night.

Got thrown out of the bar for too many photos.

And the bar man kept telling me the flash wasn't working.

Cute bar server who kept saying no but loved the attention.

An f1.4 don't need flash.

Jerk.

I gave a camera to Filipe to use, he just couldn't believe how heavy it was in his hand, and he's a working guy in heavy industry.
