By any chance, did you fly phrogs in the Marines? I was a CH46 pilot from 1975-1986 and spent six months at Futema with HMM161 back in 1978.

And I like your photos.

HMM 164 for a few months at Futenma early 1976 and put in for a transfer and got it to HMM 165 Cubi Point PI. We would get picked up from Subic by LPHs and spent some time on the USS Tripoli and the USS Okinawa. We did get down to Australia (shellback)....
