A rollfilm back that would fit under the spring back? I used to have a Rada back that was 6x9 which I modified to 6x11 for a Voigtlander Avus. It was very slim and would fit under the spring back. I'm sure she could use sheet holders and of course rollfilm is just convenient. I'm watching two 2x3 Grafmatic holders on ebay and she'll make up her mind about them tomorow.
She hasn't taken a photo yet but is already very excited about the camera

No. You will have to modify the spring back, and change it to accomodate a rollfilm holder. There are some very slim rollfilm holders out there, that fit under a spring back, but they are for 620 film. Your best bet is to modify spring back to accept regular 6x9 Graflex holders, like I have gotten from you. 🙂

Thanks for being such a great sport.
Your gunning really made me crazy because that tiny 6x9 folder, the Bessa II with 105 Heliar, and the Olympic Practica with that fast lens seemed to be personally targeting my tastes.
In a way you were my clear favorite, but we New York RFF'ers always seem to favor underdogs. Anyways this year's cheap camera competition was a lot like this year's Superbowl. Understand that I was rooting for the Sea Hawks, but they did not win. LOL.

I know that feeling all too well. Professionally repainted black M3 (serial >1M) with super clear viewfinder and original black paint 50 lux does not mean much in the Contest. :bang:

My new OM 4 was feeling lonely, so I got it a 35mm shift lens to match the 24mm. It was like for 'no money', but I'm now officially broke. I also have a nice grid screen in the mail.

Having a shift in a wide is a really trick thing. I have that capability with my Plaubel 69W and my F3P-24/3.5 Olympus. Now I'm kinda spoiled because these rigs make it real easy to shoot mucho film.
I'm in the same sit-chee-A-tion as they say in Brooklyn, and now when I say, "No money" I'm not talking about the price of gear, but the financial situation.
My big plan now is to win a lottery.

Cal, when I said 'no money' I meant I got a rare late mc version for what is a reasonable price for the sc version. There was actual money involved.

Turned out that I "knew" the fellow who received the RFF softie, but we'd never met in person, just via Facebook (and only realized later that we'd been online acquaintances.) He told me today that he didn't know what he liked more: the softie that solved his Monochrom shutter annoyance, or the way he acquired the softie!

Your books kinda hit home as I have an immune system disorder, and had/have PTSD even though I was not in any war.
I think some of my risk taking, gambling, and sometimes reckless behavior is all about regressing into the dangers of my past and is all about exerting control. Anyways a lot of crazy behavior, never thought I would live this long, but some how I became an old man.
Likely my immune system disorder is somewhat related to the stress and trauma I experienced earlier in life. An edgy lifestyle somehow has caught up with me at this point. Again I never thought that I would live this long.
The story about the Rolex and the Day Trading is all so very true. I had to process anger so that it did not turn into depression, and it was a very risky gamble using borrowed money and multiplying the risk by using 3 to one leverage. Basically I ran my own Hedge Fund for almost 4 years where the only difference between me and a real Hedge Fund was a zero where they used 30 to one leverage and I used only 3 to one. The odds were against me, but I sold my oil stocks at $135.00 just before oil peaked at $147.00 later that same day. If I didn't sell I would have been ruined.
My quickest time driving cross country from New Mexico to New York, over 2,000 miles, was 32 hours straight, and that was driving a 1984 Jeep Scrambler a rather unstable vehicle. I kinda have a reputation of driving a car or truck like a figther pilot.
Anyways the drive that makes me confront my possible end is related to violence and trauma.
