Submitted a best offer on this Fed-2, just wondering if someone knows what the engraving on the top says...

It's hard really write it in English ;-) Polish is much better to do so ;-) Zawod imieni Feliksa Edmuntowicza Dzierżinskowo. But I know it's not helping ;-) He was Polish nationality but we ARE NOT proud of it. He was real executioner.

Well the seller (truckingamerica) accepted my offer of $45 for the camera, it looks EX+++ and I am waiting to see how much he will add a Fed I-22, Early Fed Case, and Original lens cap for. I know it it is a bit high but I think he has taken this mint original set an broken it up in different auctions and would like to have the whole set.

I gotta stop with these FSUs! My wife says I have a problem. Now I will own 2 Kievs (gonna sell one) a Zorki-4 and a Fed-2. Quite enough rangefinders....

until GAS hits again!

Well I am done buying cameras for a bit, but I got a really nice kit!

He was, but did manage to earn Stalin's trust, unlike the 2000+
Polish officers that were later slaughtered in the Katyn Forest.

That's a nice looking Fed 2a. It's tough to find them without
finish problems. For some reason, the shutters in the 2a/b
refuse to misbehave. I have several of them and have not
seen exposure times vary much more than 10%. Nice catch !
