Please look at my avatar carefully. Can you guess/see/find out what is in common between fed and my avatar?

(There is indeed something in common between them!)

Those who knew the answer anyway do not post it please, just post that you know it 🙂

They're both old and slow? (but a joy to use all the same 😉 )

Based on borrowed ideas from other designers?

Fed did experiment with a steam powered auto focus rangefinder ... and FSU locomotives never ran on time! 😉

I used my Fed at a Brownie function last week and it scared the kids...😕
The steam engine breaks if you don't work the controls in precise order...😕
Or wait, you have a special "cowcatcher" edition camera? 🙂

19th century technology being talked about with 21st century technology?
Both(train and camera) built by orphans?
Obsolete but still useful and fun?
Made by people rather than by machine?
Songs written about both?
Rob
(I would have better ideas about this but it's 9:30 AM here and so I haven't been drinking yet😀 )

So... it's any expression?

In the Black Country the winner is the bloke (or blokess) who gets the bottom lip up the highest.

Bah, may be I've had too many pork scratchings already...

if you don't set the speed before cocking (taking off?) it breaks?

we're big steam engine fans here, but I have no clue about the similarity with the FED, launched an industrial revolution of some sort?

Was the locomotive also named after a bad guy? I think they both look like piece of junk, but still do the job?:bang:
