I have recently acquired a messy Fed Atlas that has its horizontal rangefinder misaligned. Does anybody have an idea how I could adjust it?
Also, the inner part of the lens seems to have its back element on screw in and out barrel that seems need to be properly adjusted too. Is there any documentation about it?

All I have found to use as a reference for the lens is the photo here

The inner part of the tube can be screwed in and out. I guess that this affects the focal distance of the lens. My problem now is how far should I screw it inwards?

Fixed it! You won't believe it, but the guy that had sold it to me (ebay, yes...) had the lens messed up and put many parts of it back in the wrong way (and lost one screw).
The positive side of it is that I now know much about that lens of a pretty much undocumented camera! It is the ugliest ever rangefinder, but now I love it.

Very much the early 'sixties look, isn't it?
Reminds me of the Ilford Sportsman or the Agfa Silette LK.
