fed2 and universal finder

Does the FSU universal viewfinder fit nicely on early FED 2's (type a)? It looks like the shoe might be a little low ...

I haven't tried it but if it does fit a bit tight, use on of those flash hotshoe converters which will raise it up nicely 1/2" 😉

I just tried one for you, fits nicely however the dedicated ones ie. 35,85, and 135mm will only fit on the FED 2e with the raised shoe. Dave
