Fed2 case of Leica IIf?

Can anyone confirm or know if the leather case for a Fed2 camera will fit a Leica IIf? I've got a naked one that wants a leather case (actually jsut the bottom half) for a bit of protection. Anyone know? Or have a cheap Leica case?

I tried it Frank, my IIf does fit in a Fed 2 ER case if a bit loose, but not too bad.
the screw on the Fed 2 case is almost on the bottom centre( and it is a 3/8" too) so it has to be moved to the side of the wind knob for the IIf on the bottom of the Fed 2 case.
So a bit of work is required, plus a 1/4" screw might be needed if your Leica has a North American type bottom plate.

The bottom part of a Zenit E ERC seems to work ok on my IIIf with a bit of leather trimming around the upper perimeter ,and the 1/4" screw is in the proper spot for the IIIf.
