Feeling a little stupid......

I started a tread some weeks ago about what films to pack for a trip to India. And got a lot of responding.
We got back from it earlier this week, and I(we) could not imagine that it would be such a country so full of color.. And bringing B&W film felt a little stupid....😱. Did use one....of 15 packed.

At least you had all the bases covered taking both. That is one reason I like digital when traveling, you can do both B&W and colour more easily. OTH if you shoot colour film you can convert in PS should you feel that B&W would be better. I hope you had an enjoyable trip.

I can top that. I picked up my Bessa L yesterday & went for a walk shooting all kinds of colorful things. I had a half case on the camera so it was covering the rear window. When I got to the end of the roll, rewound & opened the back, the film was B&W. DUH!! Of course I blamed the stupid half case!😀 Moral of story is this, Never assume anything.🙂 OK, now I'm off to view your lovely photos!

Color is magic Chris, but nothing can win vs image, dont be mad about b&w or color, I'm anxious to see your images.

Thanks for all the reactions. Bringing the Ektars and Portra's was the right decision.
