Have never used the original, and the proof will be in the pudding, but the honesty and enthusiasm behind this project have been refreshing. Don't know if this new P30 will have the same look as the old P30 put to good effect by Fellini, Pasolini, and Rosselini, but recurring mental images of Anita Ekberg in "La Dolce Vita" are clouding my judgment. Might try to obtain some just because.
