Just some comments, wish I had some to play with.
First of all, great pics and details to everyone!
Seems to me that the lower ISO and lower agitation, to the point of stand development, is getting the best acutance, shadow detail and midtown separation. Highlights also control.
If it's rated at ISO80 and you shoot at 50, you overexpose highlights and maybe properly expose shadows. The low agitation or Rodial stand development acts as a highlight compensating factor, since the developer is quickly exhausted in those regions and not in the shadows. Lower agitation enhances the highlight compensating effect. The Rodial or R09 (if it's truly the same) gave the nicest images with d76 1:1 second.
If someone was really brave they could shoots some images of the silver halide grains, unexposed, with a scanning electron microscope. I am curious how they appear if they are more cubic or more flatter.
In any case, it's great that there is this kind of film available to work with in 2017.
I'll buy some and restart the film darkroom as soon as it's available.

brbro. Just out of curiosity was your agitation really low? Whenever I use rodinal it never looks that smooth. Even with lower agitation.

No, my standard agitation. 30 sec. at the beginning and then 2 inversions every minute.
Two more at iso50 and 14min in Rodinal 1:50:

Negatives look thin, scans were really dark but easily adjustable.

Thanks for the info. I just developed a roll, have two rolls sitting on my desk, and ordered 4 more rolls. I am going to dial down the ISO on this to 50 for the next shoot. I think that the negs came out too thin and I lost a lot of shadow detail on the last roll.

I am ready to develop my first roll of P30 and I will use stand development R09. In the past I agitated by inverting for one minute and letting it sit for 60 minutes. I got lots of contrast and grain in other films (XP2). I need your best advice on agitation. I plan on developing for 45 min as suggested by the Ferrarnia website. Thanks, Pepe

seems like 1+50 rodinal with a light agitation scheme is a good place to start.

I have yet to shoot the five rolls I got as a backer for the kickstarter campaign. Want to see the results from those rolls before buying more.
