Field Trip Anyone?

I live in Brooklyn, and regularly visit the Green Wood cemetary. Incredible photo ops. Monuments, buildings, scenery. And they even encourage you to come! Tons of rich and famous buried here. A Spring field trip might be nice. Stu

Any cemetery with a Hall of Fame can catch my attention. I look forward to seeing your plans and if I can join you I will.

I'd be interested. On a related note - there was a story in the NYTimes just the other day about how a condo project is going to be "modified" so as to preserve the "view" that a statue of Minerva in G-W cemetery has "saluting" the Statue of Liberty in the harbor. Seems that some time in the 1920's Minerva was positioned there with a waving hand so as to be "saluting" Lady Liberty. Nice pics in the brief article showed the view from Minerva's back.

One thought that would not bode well for my participation. But photographing in a cemetery at the crack of dawn is cool. Great light...... you know.
