I recently acquired a FIKUS hood with the 50,90,135 gradings.
I noticed there are threads at the larger end with diameter about 44mm. Can it accept filters? What will be the correct size? And looks like a snap-on cap can be used as well.

It does look as though it will accept filters, although they would probabaly be unmounted glass in a series size. But putting a large filter at the very end of the hood would be asking for the kind of flare you're using the hood to avoid. The hood does fit over Leitz A36 camp-on filters.

The FIKUS hood is designed to fit on the front of lenses that accept A-36 filters. The A-36 filter is designed so that you place it on the front of the lens and then put the FIKUS hood on the front of the filter.

I see. But would that add more stress and causing the hood to drop off with the filter in case it was not tighten sufficiently?
The A36 filters are not cheap
