Film leader retriever - some kind of mean joke?

John, I like your instructions. I am sure this was unintentional but read these selected “excerpts” from your post... (I think the 2 posters after you saw this too) I mean no harm by this, just a quick note on how some stuff can come out more funny than probably intended – I got both good advice and a good hearty laugh out of this :angel:

Get ... about 6 inches long, lick the end and thread it carefully into the slit .... until its about a couple of inches inside or you feel resistance. Then try to wind ... by turning the shaft. When you meet resistance with this, jiggle it about and pull gently, while still trying to wind ..... out by further gentle twisting the shaft. Usually works.

Simple my ass -- this thing ranks along with Poo-Poo cushions, rubber chickens, and dribble glasses...and just about as funny... If I had any friends or family that still shoot film, and I don't, I'd send it to them on April 1st 😀.

Nope... I just went through my thrash can 🙁 , dug up all of the packaging, no printed directions...
