Film portraiture using only natural light

I'll agree with that. Great shot Erik.

Thank you, Lynnb. I found just out that the shot is not with a Leica, but with my first Nikkormat and Nikkor H Auto 50mm. The shot is 49 years old.

I often borrowed the Leica from my school at the time because I couldn't afford one myself, hence the misunderstanding.

Erik.

This happens to me very often, I tend to take the roll out of one camera and load it to another. I have become good with avoiding overlapping frames. But it also means that i don't always remember which camera I used for each shot. Recently I started writing down the cameras used on every negative sheet.

2014 yet another visit to Urgent Care...when I look at this I can only imagine the pain she must have been in to go out in public with her hair a mess and wearing a robe...my dad was done taking her..he was pretty much done...can't say I blame him, I was at that point too...but she needed to go, so I showed up and took her...
I used an Nikon F with 50mm attached...she didn't know I shot this...she would have never allowed me to show her face, nor would I have tried...
We were waiting for the doctor to check her out...I don't remember what exactly was going on this night but it was just one of many times being here...
She did several extended stays in the hospital...even with all they did she never got better and her body just started to quit...
She gave up on life after my brother died, she passed 9 months after he did...said she had nothing else to live for...gotta say that hurt but it didn't surprise me or my dad...

Thanks for sharing, Sam. The picture shows the story of hurt and maybe resignation, in contrast with the cheerful pattern of the robe.
