Film prices in Australia!

I've been using this group for a while.

They have limited supply sometimes though but better the any of the reatail places.

I'd say these guys have prices similar to the UK. The UK is still expensive compared to the USA, but I'm used to it. Will get in an order soon I expect, although the range is not great. Will likely end up doing a B&H order too.

There's a guy on Aust Ebay who calls himself 'cheap shots' and I did buy some film from him a while ago. Sells a five pack of 135 36 exp HP5+ for $34.50 which is still close to seven dollars per roll but a lot better than Vanbar and some of the alternatives.

Yeah, I seen those Keith. But still expensive. Since I started loading my own, I can't imagine buying it per roll. It's so easy.

I'm laughing thanks to Freestyle. When they had 100ft rolls of Arista Premium 400 on special I bought about eight cans. I think it was thirty something dollars per can from memory ... incredibly cheap!

It's hard to be too precise due to exchange rates.

It's strange that film in the UK is not that cheap either. Ilford is more expensive than in the US, despite being a UK film.

But Aussie film prices are crazy. Although, I remember when broadband prices were crazy too (maybe still is). There doesn't seem to be a lot of logic to pricing sometimes.

Compared to the USA, just about everything in the UK is pretty expensive. In terms of prices vs. actual cost of living, it's hard to say whether it's more expensive in real terms.
