I'll be visiting the Ramstein/Kaiserslautern area for a few weeks in June and I'd rather not bring undeveloped film with me from the states.
So, I'm looking for someplace local to buy and hopefully process 35mm (B&W or color) film.

I've already Googled it and found a few places. Just looking for some local recommendations.

Thanks in advance

Buying: I don't know about local shops an that area, in any case you can order online from macodirect.de or fotoimpex.de. Certain films would be cheaper in the US though, do your research first.
Developing: All drugstores will send your C-41 and E-6 films out to big labs (Fuji and Cewe). Cheap, mostly good, but very rarely I've got scratched film back. They also offer black and white development, but it's more expensive and I don't know what exactly they'll do. Developing yourself could be worth it depending on the volume, buy supplies from the aforementioned online shops. Otherwise there are several pricier labs like photostudio13.de or www.meinfilmlab.de/en/. I have no experience with them.
Local camera stores might also offer development but many just send out to the same big labs as the drugstores.

I send my films to PixelNet / ORWO in Bitterfeld-Wolfen. Not expensive, no problems. Highly recommended.

Most local camera shops where I live (not in the Kaiserslautern area) do not develop anymore and will send your films to CEWE-Color, most likely. The one local shop that does still develop should really stop doing that -- they scratched a couple of my films.

Have a good trip and a lot of fun!
