Camera City is not far from the Forbidden Palace. Most Taxi drivers know where it is. There are several dozen camera shops under one roof with everything under the sun photographic, both new and used. It's like a Pearl Market for photographers!

Most of the shops near the tourist areas stopped carrying film. You will probably have to go to WuKeSong Camera mall. It is a mega-camera mall in between Subway Line 1 and line 6 on the west side of the city. Easy to get to, prices are ok for film and they will have almost any film type that you want.
The film shops are all in the back on the first floor.

Maliandao Photo City at Wukesong is where I pick up my film. You might also want to take a look at their equipment, some of those shops have interesting, vintage stuff lying around
