I just got a 400' roll of Eastman Double X and put my first roll through the R4A this afternoon. The film is rated ISO 250, so I set the ISO dial on the R4A to the first mark after 200 (there are two between 200 and 400).
Then I read in the R4A instruction manual (p. 35) "Make sure to set film speed exactly at the detent, not in between, otherwise proper shutter speeeds will not be shown in the viewfinder".
By setting the ISO at the first mark after 200, what EI did I shoot the film at? 😕 What would be the ISO of the second mark between 200 and 400? 😕
