I'll be in the Pays Basque the whole month of October, shooting B&W in 35mm and 6x6cm. I'll be based near Bayonne and Biarritz, but may travel as far as Bordeaux and Toulouse and maybe Bilbao. Does anyone know where I can buy 120 film, HP5+ would do fine, in case I run short?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

If you are in the Biarritz/Bayonne area, don't forget St. Jean de Luz.
I've been in that area a lot but can't remember that there was a photo shop. In Bordeaux or Toulouse the chances should be better.

you can buy some film in saint jean de luz in a shop near the church downtown but it is expensive
even in bordeaux it is expensive
the only solution to have good price is to go to paris unfortunately, other wise you will pay 2 to 3 times the price
anyway there is a great restaurant in saint jean de luz
bayonne is wonderfull biarritz is quite ugly (the town I mean)
otherwise october is wonderfull in basque country and bearn

Thanks, tom.w.bn! I wouldn't dream of missing St. Jean de Luz! Isn't that the birthplace of Maurice Ravel? Very nice photo, BTW.
Le vrai RDU, thanks for that. Unfortunately, I'll only be in Paris at the end of my trip, for a week. I'll just have to load up over here!

In Toulouse, the best place - according to me - is Signe des Temps. If you come during the week, you can also go to Prophot. Please feel free to contact me if you need some other information about Toulouse.
Note: Avoid Photo Carmes: bad service and I never tested anything in their window that works.
