Film trading thread?

I'd been thinking about this and it makes sense to me, but see if it makes sense to you.

I mentioned in another thread that it may be a good idea to have a film trading thread and a couple of others also said they'd be interested in that kind of thing.

The classifieds is good for the bigger items, but I think that trading film would work better in a thread. That way it's all in one place and people could just post what they have, what they'd rather have, and what they've received. You could look through everyone's list at once and it would be a lot faster.

Trading items is free anyway, so it wouldn't be taking any funding away from the site.

Just throwing it out for the powers that be and us to discuss and whatnot.

I've got a huge pile of recently outdated Tmax 100/36 that I'm not likely to get to for example... so yeah, a trading thread would be good.

I have a few precious rolls of Agfa Ultra 50 in the freezer (got a few rolls in 120, too...) Somebody make me a tempting offer, and I'll part with some if anyone wants...

Anyway, I also have loads of other weird stuff in the fridges and freezers, so I'd be very interested in some trade action too.

Yup, I said I was definitely in for a trade.

I had sold off all my 35mm film a while back when I wanted to focus on medium format, but now that rangefinders have pulled me back in again, I need more 35mm film stock. I've got a lot of 120 film I'd love to trade since it'd free up some freezer/fridge space plus I wouldn't be pouring more money into film, especially since I have so much I'm not using right now.

Heck, if there's enough response and the admins/mods don't feel like it's something they wish to support, I have no problem setting something up and hosting it.

Yeah, I'm in. I have a ton of stuff that is iso200 and up. I would love to get my hands on some Reala or decent quality iso100 stuff.

Do we/you need to do anything further to "formalize" this thread? Everybody seems keen so should we just post our lists? I'll quantify what I have today as far as number of rolls/exp/iso and post it in a bit. Here's a rough idea of what I have and what I want:

All 35mm
Have:
Fuji 200 12 exp
Fuji 400 12 exp
Kodak HD 400 24 exp
Fuji 800 12 exp
Fuji 1600
Fuji Velvia 50/100
Miscellaneous other stuff, some b&w etc.

Want:
Fuji Reala
Fuji Provia 100F
Some decent slower film iso100/160/etc.

I also have ONE roll of 120 format Kodak Tmax.
