I have a Fuji GSW690III with the 65mm F/5.6 EBC fujinon lens. Since this lens is the equivalent to a 28mm in 35mm format, will I need a special or 'slim' filter so not to vignette?
I've been told that the B+W filters in the 'F-Pro' mount would be fine, but I know that both B+W as well as Heliopan offer a 'slim' filter, which is almost 2x the price.
Anyone out there with experience in this, I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Brad

Film is the other way
Brad, I've got a BL G690 the vignetting is only noticeable if you look for it. There is a correction patch available online somewhere for vignetting that works with PS. I'd suggest you do what Ansel Adams would have done, manipulate the image in PS using the plug in. It will likely be less costly.
Otherwise I think you have the usual suspects , B&H , Adorama or other online specialty retailers.

Filter for the Fuji GSW690III
I just called Schneider Optics (maker and distributor for B+W Filters), and their rep stated that the B+W filters in the F-Pro Mount (standard mount) are conservatively-rated for lenses as wide as 28mm.
Thanks, Brad

I have the GSW Fuji 690II and use the standard B+W filters and haven't seen any noticeable vignetting.
But then i shoot TX400 b/w so perhaps such things would show up as they might if you were shooting on Slide Film that included large areas of sky. Any Vignetting can be easily corrected in CS3 if you choose to open your TIFF and JPEGS in RAW or Pixel Genius's B/W plug-in filter using the "Dodge" and "all four corners" option.
