Filter Question

I have an extra UV/IR Filter from my M8 purchase. If I use this filter with my Film M, will it affect the film image in any way?

It should not have a noticable effect on exposure - but you may get color shift with wide angles...

UV/IR cut filters seem to improve the image quality from other digital sensor cameras as well.

To really know, you'll have to make comparison pictures and compare them.
Do so under a range of conditions, and make the two exposures as "the same" as humanly possible.
