I'm on my way to Mexico for a job and just bought a 90 Elmar Collapsible that I will receive while there. I want to buy a yellow filter for it but don't know the size that I need. I will be buying online from B&H and I hope it's not an odd size. I appreciate the help from owners or anyone that knows the correct filter size for this lens.

Thanks!

Riccis, if you never have used the 90f4 Collapsible, there are a couple of pointers to consider. You have to set the lens to infinity to collapse - also check that it is properly locked in place when extended. It is a great lens, by no means lightweigt if it is one of the older versions - and I advise using a hood as it can be a bit prone to flare.
I would also be tempted to add an orange filter for more dramatic sky. The Yellow K2 is quite modest in its effect - particularly in a bright space like Mexico.

The 39mm Nikkor filters made for Rear Mount lenses such as the Reflex-Nikkor 500/8 will also work. But you give up threads on the front of the filter.
